Game Of The Year 2016

2017 is alsmost here and it's time to decide the best game of 2016. Well, it was already chosen last night at game awards where we saw a lot of new stuff from big developers like EA ( new Mass Effect Andromeda trailer).
Anyway, I really hoped that Titanfall 2 or Uncharted 4 will win but it looks like I was wrong.
The game of the year 2016 is Overwatch, voted by game awards. A game of the year edition may come soon, who knows. Maybe they will make it cheaper or add some cool stuff, I don't know.
Here is a list with every winner and section from the game awards:

Game of the Year: Overwatch
Best Studio/Game Direction: Blizzard Entertainment
Best Narrative: Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Best Art Direction: Inside
Best Music/Sound Design: Doom
Best Performance: Nolan North – Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
Games for Impact Award: That Dragon Cancer
Best Mobile/Handheld Game: Pokémon Go
Best VR Game: Rez Infinite
Best Action Game: Doom
Best Action/Adventure Game: Dishonored 2
Best Role Playing Game: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Bloood & Wine
Best Fighting Game: Street Fighter V
Best Family Game: Pokémon Go
Best Strategy Game: Civilization 6
Best Sports/Racing Game: Forza Horizon 3
Best Multiplayer Game: Overwatch

You can watch it here ( it looks like they had a problem with copyright, that's why the sound is disabled. I hope
they will fix it soon)

Just like you i really hoped Uncharted 4: A Thief's End was going to win Game of the Year, i thought it was way better than Overwatch.
I didn't think Overwatch was all that, i think it's because i prefer games that have a single player story, and Overwatch doesn't have that, it's only multiplayer.
In my opinion Uncharted 4 is way better than Overwatch, it's such a complete game, it has an amazing story, and a great and very fun multiplayer, i think it deserved way more than Overwatch, but that's just me.
